In January 2011, we adopted a three month old male puppy we named Dakota. It was a very pleasant application experience thanks to shelter manager Debbie and her friendly staff. We were very impressed with the facility and how the dogs and cats were cared for.
Dakota came to the Rock Hill shelter with a large group of rescued dogs from a high kill shelter in Tennessee.
When I took Dakota to our vet the following week for a general check up, our vet said we “picked a winner”. Dakota’s shots were up to date, he was already neutered and microchipped via the shelter so we were all set to enjoy our puppy, start training and make him feel like part of our family.
Any time I had a question or concern about training or health, Debbie was always available to answer my questions. She is very knowledgeable about animal behavior and many health issues.
Dakota is now five years old and a big happy and healthy puppy. We love him very much, he’s such a good dog!
