The 1960s was a time of automotive diversity. The decade brought us fabulous road and racecars, many of which will join us on the Friday road rally and at Art in Motion. While the 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO and Corvette Stingray redefined meaning of sexy curves on cars, miniskirts and go-go boots will forever be linked to the decade of social, political, cultural, and musical change. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is an architectural masterpiece of natural wood and stone coming together on the farm that was host to the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival. Museum is a label that is too static for the world renowned collection of films, photography, clothing, jewelry, music, and memorabilia you’ll see on Friday evening at Bethel Woods. There is no finer tribute to the 1960s.
Our evening in the room of windows overlooking the Catskill Mountains will include five-star dining and live entertainment. The Art in Motion Road Rally will conclude at Bethel Woods at roughly 4:00 pm. Just in time to enjoy the Bethel Woods wine festival featuring over 20 vineyards.
